STATION F is the biggest startup campus in the world, backed by Xavier Niel. Open since June in Paris, we house 1000+ startups. We pride ourselves on being a unique, international, all-inclusive startup space where startups come first. The 34,000 sq meter building also houses a makerspace, an auditorium and other event spaces, restaurants and bars, a pop-up store, on-site services, a post-office and partner offices and programs - including Facebook, Vente Privée, Daphni, HEC, Kima Ventures, Ventech, TechShop and more. The building is accessible 24/7. In addition, living amenities for 600 entrepreneurs are being built in Ivry sur Seine (opening 2018), 10 minutes away from Station F.

What you will do

We are looking for an Operations assistant to provide general support on the day to day tasks and requests. You will help with managing the business daily, setting up internal procedures and policies, organizing meetings and follow-ups and suggesting improvements.

You will report directly to the operations manager and work closely with all departments (IT, logistics, communications, HR, finance, events…)

Contrat Type: CDD 3 months
Reports to: Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to the Operations team by helping on diverse tasks
  • Set up internal procedures and policies
  • Coordinate with management to schedule team meetings and to provide follow-ups
  • Assist with the cost estimates, budget reporting and monitoring
  • Liaise with office vendors and service providers when required
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Assist the team on diverse topics (event organisation, communication, office management ..)

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate profile

  • At least 1 previous experience
  • Knowledge of financial basics, data and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Bilingual English/French mandatory, third language a plus
  • Passionate about or interested in startups a plus
  • A doer, who can meet deadlines autonomously
  • Autonomous, doesn’t need someone constantly looking over their shoulder
  • A team-player, can wear multiple hats and is happy to support the team in a wide variety of tasks
  • Super organized, detail-oriented with great problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
