Station F is hiring!


STATION F is the biggest startup campus in the world, backed by Xavier Niel. Open since June in Paris, we house 1000+ startups. We pride ourselves on being a unique, international, all-inclusive startup space where startups come first. The 34,000 sq meter building also houses a makerspace, an auditorium and other event spaces, restaurants and bars, a pop-up store, on-site services, a post-office and partner offices and programs - including Facebook, Vente Privée, Daphni, HEC, Kima Ventures, Ventech, TechShop and more. The building is accessible 24/7. In addition, living amenities for 600 entrepreneurs are being built in Ivry sur Seine (opening 2018), 10 minutes away from Station F.

What you will do

Tech and cultural events and visits are happening daily at STATION F. The events team is looking for a highly motivated Junior Event & Visits Manager to make sure they all go smoothly!

  • Manage all visits requests for STATION F
  • Set up a very efficient process to handle all visits requests and define an offer for free / high level or official visits
  • Organize group tours of STATION F on a daily basis: manage all logistical aspects and the content of the tour
  • Be responsible for all issues related to visits: security, hostesses, catering, printed material, etc.
  • Tell visitors of STATION F (both in French and in English) everything they need to know about the story of the building, what’s going on inside, answer their questions, and make sure they leave with stars in their eyes
  • Manage reporting to the Events Manager and CRM for visitors
  • Help Events Managers on organizing events at STATION F: speaker management, invite list, security, A/V, catering, etc.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate profile

  • Very good presentation skills
  • Bilingual French/English and perfect oral English mandatory, third language a plus
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Has previously supervised an event and / or worked in the hospitality industry or the cultural industry as a cultural mediator
  • Positive, self-motivated
  • Good sense of humour
  • Can work under tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Be diplomatic and able to work with people from all backgrounds and cultures
  • Education: no specific requirement

  • What is your favorite fun fact about Station F?
  • We have a LOT of people that want to visit Station F. Some of our visits are paid (for corporates) and some of them are not paid (for students, non-profits). A corporate client wants to come visit and doesn’t want to pay because they are bringing the CEO. What do you tell them?
  • We receive a lot of requests for visits and cannot accommodate everyone. We have 2 groups that want to visit the same day and time: a group of Stanford Students (free visit) and a group of corporates from AXA (paid visit). What do you do?
